Nigerian Army troops from Operation Udo Ka, supported by Neighbourhood Watch, successfully rescued 14 kidnap victims in Orokam Forest, a border area between Enugu and Benue states. The Friday operation followed intelligence about a kidnappers’ camp.
The joint team engaged the criminals, who fled, leaving the unharmed victims abducted from Ezimo Agu and Orokam communities. The rescued individuals were handed to police for family reunification as surveillance intensifies.
