Five people, including two children, have died in a series of separate incidents in Kano State. The tragedies, which occurred in three different local government areas, involved two well collapses and a devastating house fire.
The State Fire Service confirmed three men died in a well-digging accident in Bichi. Additionally, a 10-year-old boy drowned in a well in Danbatta, and a 10-year-old girl perished in a house fire in Nassarawa.
