The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has been ordered by the High Court to appear in court within 21 days over a defamation suit. Tonye Cole is seeking N40 billion in damages for alleged defamatory statements made by Wike.
The suit alleges that Wike’s remarks on Channels TV were malicious and damaging. Cole is also seeking legal costs, a retraction, and a public apology from the defendants.
