The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of Superintendent of Police Abimbola Adebisi as the new Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command.
In a statement issued on Monday, Deputy PPRO Babasayi Oluseyi said Adebisi brings “a wealth of academic, professional, and operational experience” to the role. She succeeds Benjamin Hundeyin, who was recently promoted as Force Public Relations Officer.
Adebisi holds degrees in English Language and Literature, as well as Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. She is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and a member of international professional bodies, including the International Public Relations Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Her past roles include Staff Officer to the DIG Operations and PPRO Liaison Officer at Force Headquarters. The Command assured Lagos residents of her readiness to deepen police-community relations.
