Sokoto South Senator Aminu Tambuwal has vowed never to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying he does not want his “sins forgiven.”
Speaking to supporters in Sokoto, the former governor insisted, “I cannot be intimidated. I cannot be blackmailed. No one can tarnish my records.” He maintained that Nigeria’s politics is split between “those with Bola Tinubu and his government” and “those with the people of Nigeria,” adding, “I have chosen to stand with the people.”
This comes days after the EFCC detained Tambuwal over alleged fraudulent cash withdrawals totalling N189 billion.
