Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has raised an alarm in a new song, accusing President Bola Tinubu and billionaire Bill Gates of a plot to harm Nigerians with genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In the track, titled ‘Tinubu/Bill Gates GMO,’ Abdulkareem warns citizens about the dangers of GMOs, which he describes as “poisonous and dangerous to both the soil and human health.”
The artist claims that GMOs will render land infertile and destroy the country’s food system, a plan he attributes to “powerful figures.” He argues that Nigerian citizens deserve “healthy, natural food” and urged the First Lady, Remi Tinubu, to remind her husband of this.
”GMO na big time poison, any soil where the plant am no go reproduce again,” Abdulkareem said in the song, adding, “Tell me, now which kind seed be that, wey go spoil your soil and destroy your body?”
Abdulkareem also used the song to call for an end to insecurity and terrorism, which he says prevents farmers from growing “natural organic food.”
