Commissioner Mamman Giwa reported the recovery of multiple AK-47 rifles, pump-action guns, and hundreds of ammunition rounds. Suspects confessed to numerous past kidnappings across Enugu, with operations extending to other states, involving ransom payments up to ₦25 million. Investigations continue to link suspects to further crimes.
