Medical Academics Set Deadline
Nigeria’s medical and dental academics, through NAMDA’s Ilorin Branch, backed a national 21-day ultimatum to the federal government. The demand addresses outstanding issues, with the deadline set for August 31. The union expressed frustration over slow negotiations and the “brain drain” of medical professionals, urging immediate resolution to prevent disruptions to medical education and healthcare.
