Iraq calls emergency security meeting after US-Saudi Arabia airstrikes

Iraq’s Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi convened an emergency National Security Council meeting following U.S. and Saudi airstrikes on Iran-backed militias. The strikes, which the U.S. stated were in response to drone attacks, targeted militia positions in Iraq. The Popular Mobilisation Forces reported casualties and damage to infrastructure.
