Reps Give IG 48-Hour Deadline to Produce Fake Agency’s Adeyemi

Reps Order IG to Produce Fake Agency DG Within 48 Hours

The House wants him in the room — and fast. According to Punch, the Reps Committee probing the controversial Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council has ordered the IGP, Olatunji Disu, to produce suspect Adeyemi Adeniyi by Wednesday noon.

Committee chairman Yusuf Gagdi said Adeyemi’s appearance was non-negotiable, given the scale of allegations involving forged State House documents and a bogus ₦1.32bn budget allocation. Police confirmed signatures on suspect documents didn’t match authentic ones, and investigators have identified 29 allegedly forged documents linked to multiple government agencies.

Police also revealed an eight-count fraud charge already filed against Adeyemi in Federal High Court, though they urged caution to avoid prejudicing the ongoing case.
