Fresh details before the Federal High Court in Abuja have exposed the alleged operational blueprint behind a plot to topple President Bola Tinubu’s government. Investigative records show suspects mapped out coordinated attacks on the Presidential Villa, Radio House, airport runways and residences of top military commanders, relying on insider support, Politico reports.
Mr. Usman was allegedly tasked with the Villa assault, aided by insider Inspector Ahmed Ibrahim. Major Abdulkarim Ibrahim was assigned to read the coup broadcast at Radio House. Other officers were allegedly assigned to isolate the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, while plans targeted Lagos and Abuja airports to block counter-responses.
