Burna Boy has become the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries ever, after his World Cup collaboration with Shakira, “Dai Dai,” pushed his total to nine.

Burna Boy just rewrote the record books again. The Grammy winner has become the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries of all time, thanks to “Dai Dai,” his collaboration with Shakira and the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, PM news.

The win moves him past Tems, with whom he previously shared the record at eight entries each. The song got an extra push after the pair’s electrifying performance at the World Cup opening ceremony.
