A new era begins at JAMB. Per Tribune Online, Professor Segun Aina formally took over as Registrar at a handover ceremony in Bwari, Abuja, replacing Professor Is-haq Oloyede after his 10-year tenure ended.

Aina, a Professor of Computer Engineering appointed by President Tinubu in May 2026, warned fraudsters that “your business is with the wrong institution,” pledging tougher tech-driven measures against malpractice.

Outgoing Registrar Oloyede highlighted a decade of reforms, including CBT strengthening, biometric verification, and an over ₦8 billion investment in staff welfare, while reducing UTME fees by about 30%. He urged staff to support Aina’s leadership.
