Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo says the 2027 general election will be a “coronation” for President Tinubu, dismissing the chances of opposition candidates Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar.

Keyamo isn’t holding back on 2027 predictions. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, per Daily Post Nigeria, the Aviation Minister said Tinubu and the APC will “defeat the opposition hands down” next year.
Keyamo dismissed the electoral prospects of NDC’s Peter Obi and ADC’s Atiku Abubakar, insisting his confidence stems from “pure demographic calculations” rather than arrogance.
“The 2027 election is a coronation, not an election,” he said, adding, “Where will Obi’s votes come from? I can’t see it.” He credited the APC-led government’s achievements for what he described as growing public support ahead of the polls.
