1,917 Nigerians sought Netherlands asylum in two years – Report

Over 1,900 Nigerians applied for asylum in the Netherlands during 2024 and 2025. This marks a year-on-year increase in applications. Nigeria is among the top African nationalities seeking asylum in the Dutch nation. The figures do not include family reunifications.
