A 29-year-old woman, Tosin Afowowe, appeared in an Ibadan court on Tuesday facing charges of verbal and emotional abuse, and malicious damage. She pleaded not guilty to the allegations, which span from 2025 to January 2026, involving offensive messages and damage to property worth N1.2 million.
Magistrate Olasinmibo Sanusi granted Afowowe bail set at N500,000 with two sureties, emphasizing that two sureties must be blood relatives. The case has been adjourned to June 1 for further hearing.
