President Donald Trump on Friday said he would bomb Iran again “without question” if intelligence reveals the country retains the ability to enrich uranium.
Speaking at a White House press briefing, Trump responded to a reporter’s question about the possibility of future strikes, despite his administration’s claim that last weekend’s offensive destroyed three Iranian nuclear sites.
“Once those bombs got dropped, the war was over,” Trump said, emphasizing the effectiveness of the attack. Still, concerns remain about whether Iran relocated its enriched uranium or preserved operational centrifuges.
Trump hailed the strike as a “tremendous victory,” asserting, “We’ve been talking about this for 30 years, about Iran being nuclear, and all I said is it will not be nuclear.”
Later on Truth Social, Trump criticized Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, writing, “His Country was decimated, his three evil Nuclear Sites were OBLITERATED… I knew EXACTLY where he was sheltered.”
The comments came during a press event highlighting NATO and Supreme Court wins.
