Suspected herdsmen killed local vigilante Friday Ishaku and injured Daniel Yilbin in Minjing village, Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, Sunday afternoon. Kefas Mallai, Community Peace Observers chairman, confirmed Ishaku was shot in the head. Attackers, disguised as shepherds, opened fire when challenged. The incident follows another recent attack where three miners were killed on June 30.
