Four men have been apprehended by the Kebbi State Police Command for allegedly threatening a resident and demanding a N30 million ransom. The suspects reportedly made anonymous calls to Aminu Garba, demanding the sum or facing abduction.
The police spokesperson, Bashir Usman, confirmed the arrests, which followed a complaint from Mr. Garba. The suspects, identified as Muhammad Shafiu, Mansur Ibrahim, Aliyu Umar, and Muhammad Suleiman, allegedly used a newly procured SIM card and disguised voices to instill fear.
