Nigeria’s Federal Government and UNESCO are urging stronger collaboration among stakeholders to reposition science, technology, and innovation (STI) as a core driver for economic growth. This initiative was underscored at a three-day Abuja workshop on STI and the Renewed Hope Agenda. Minister Kingsley Udeh highlighted global shifts driven by AI and green innovations. The project, backed by the UK, aims to establish a National Research Fund.
