Vandefan Gemade, son of Senator Barnabas Gemade, has lost his bid for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency. Livinus Tsar, an ally of Governor Hyacinth Alia, won the primary with 28,549 votes. Gemade garnered 225 votes, while incumbent Sesoo Gboko scored 693 votes.
