The discovery of suspected blood-stained gloves near Nancy Guthrie’s neighborhood has prompted ongoing forensic analysis as investigators pursue new leads in the disappearance case.
The search for missing woman Nancy Guthrie took a new turn after a Tucson couple reported discovering what appeared to be blood-stained gloves in the desert less than a mile from her neighborhood near Campbell Avenue, prompting deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department to secure the scene while forensic analysis continues; describing the discovery, the wife said, “Sure enough it was a black glove in the desert, it appeared to have looked like it was ripped,” adding, “It also appeared to look like it had blood on it,” while the husband noted, “And also from the glove, it looked like a blood drop on a rock underneath the glove was like dried blood or something,” as authorities confirmed multiple gloves were collected, did not rule out the possibility of more than one suspect, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation continues to receive tips while rewards totaling over $300,000 are offered for information leading to Guthrie’s location or those responsible.
