President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Saturday for official visits to Borno, Bauchi and Lagos states. According to a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the trip will involve official engagements and personal commitments across the three states.
While in Borno State, President Tinubu is expected to commission projects executed by the Babagana Zulum administration in collaboration with the federal government. He will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State governor and senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
The President will proceed to Bauchi State to condole with the state government and the family of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late Tijjaniyya Islamic leader who died on November 27. After the visit, Tinubu will travel to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays and attend events, including the Eyo Festival scheduled for December 27.
