A medical doctor was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for allegedly supplying medical items to kidnapping gangs in Kwara State. The Kwara State Government confirmed the interception in Jebba, Moro Local Government Area, following intelligence reports.
Security sources indicated that criminal gangs require medical treatment for gunshot wounds, leading to increased surveillance on medical supply movements. Kwara State has seen a recent rise in insecurity, making border communities vulnerable to criminal activities.
