The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of its 2025 Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34 recruitment exercise, inviting eligible Nigerians to apply across various professional fields. According to a statement on its official X handle, the recruitment drive reflects NAF’s commitment to strengthening its capabilities in modern warfare, particularly in engineering, medical services, and cybersecurity.
The application period, which is free, runs from August 27 to October 7, 2025, via the official portal: nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng. Candidates must be Nigerian citizens aged between 20 and 32 years, with medical consultants allowed up to 40 years. A minimum Second Class Upper degree, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, and strict fitness standards are mandatory.
