The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Basil Iwoba Ochili, the managing director of Debasilio Construction and Estate Development Limited, in Enugu. He is accused of a N128 million land scam, allegedly defrauding a petitioner by selling land he did not own. Ochili reportedly used part of the funds to settle debts and offered dud cheques as recourse.
