Ex-PDP chairman Bamanga Tukur dies at 90, Tinubu mourns

Former PDP National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur, has passed away at 90. President Bola Tinubu mourned the loss of the elder statesman, businessman, and former Governor of Gongola State, highlighting Tukur’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s political and economic history. Tukur’s career included roles at the Nigerian Ports Authority and as Minister of Industries.

He was also instrumental in promoting intra-African trade and served as PDP National Chairman from 2012 to 2014. President Tinubu lauded his integrity, vision, and dedication to Nigeria’s potential.
