Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has approved the 2025 FGN-ASUU Salary Agreement for Kaduna State University (KASU) staff, effective October 2026. This follows a two-week warning strike by the ASUU branch at KASU. The Commissioner of Education, Prof. Abubakar Sani Sambo, announced the approval, stating it aligns with the Governor’s commitment to education and human capital development.
The approved package includes revised CONUASS, Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA), and other salary adjustments. The government also approved a one-off payment of N300 million for Earned Academic Allowance to address accumulated entitlements dating back to 2016.
