Terrorists launched attacks on four communities in Niger State’s Borgu Local Government Area, resulting in at least 30 deaths and 60 abductions. The main incident occurred in Dekara, where over 30 individuals were killed and more than 60 were taken captive.
The attacks, which targeted mosques during Friday prayers, led to the burning of houses, including that of the district head. Survivors were reportedly taken into the Kainji Lake National Park Forest. Authorities have yet to receive any demands from the assailants.
