The Obalufe of Ife, Oba Idowu Adediwura, and Lowa Adimula of Ife, Oba Adekola Adeyeye, called for political parties to shun violence. They emphasized upholding the Ooni of Ife’s peace efforts, stressing that anyone engaging in violence would face punishment.
