FCMB Group has announced a significant 99% year-on-year surge in its pre-tax profit, reaching ₦157.3 billion in the first half of 2026. This performance builds on the strong momentum from the previous financial year.
The bank’s gross earnings also saw a robust increase of 27.8% to ₦676.2 billion, fueled by a notable growth in interest income and earning assets. The Annualised Earnings Per Share (EPS) climbed to ₦4.23 from ₦3.96, underscoring the Group’s enhanced earning capacity post-recapitalization.
