Daily Post reports that Emeritus Professor Martin Aghaji, who issued an independent medical report on Nnamdi Kanu’s health, has reportedly been arrested in Enugu.
DOCTOR ARRESTED
Emeritus Professor Martin Aghaji, a medical expert who issued an independent report on the health condition of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has reportedly been arrested in Enugu.
According to Daily Post, human rights lawyer Maxwell Okpara raised the alarm over the arrest, saying Aghaji was picked up at his Independence Layout residence on Friday.
No reason has been given for the arrest, but Okpara noted that Aghaji’s medical report countered the official version presented by the Department of State Services.
Okpara called on the Nigerian Medical Association, Nigeria Bar Association and civil society groups to intervene and ensure due process is followed.
