GHOST AGENCY: FATHER ARRESTED
Nigeria Police have arrested the father of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claims to be Director-General of the disowned Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), The Guardian reports.
Officers reportedly stormed the family’s Ogbomoso residence, arresting the father alongside a family friend and leaving Adeyemi’s elderly mother distressed. Human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) confirmed the arrest, calling it a case of “substituted arrest” with no legal basis, noting Adeyemi had promised to appear in court himself.
Legal observers are expected to closely monitor developments as concerns over due process grow.
