Adebayo Adelabu, the former Minister of Power, has officially declared his intention to run for the governorship of Oyo State in the 2027 elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan, Adelabu emphasized his desire to provide visionary leadership, aiming to reposition the state for progress and prosperity.
He stated that his candidacy is driven by the need for competent and experienced leadership to foster economic transformation and create jobs. Adelabu also called for unity within the APC to achieve collective success.
