Delta State Police have arrested content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over allegations that he raped a 20-year-old woman who later died after allegedly ingesting a poisonous substance.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” over allegations that he raped a 20-year-old woman who later died after allegedly taking a poisonous substance, according to Sahara reporters.
Police said the woman had travelled to Asaba on June 1 after Ogbonna invited her for what he described as a content creation training, before allegedly assaulting her at a hotel. She reportedly recorded a video detailing her ordeal before her death.
Commissioner of Police Yemi Oyeniyi has ordered a thorough investigation, with Ogbonna currently in custody as the probe continues.
