President Donald Trump has halted a planned attack on Iran following appeals from Arab leaders. The strike, scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed due to ongoing serious negotiations between the US and Middle Eastern countries. Trump received requests from the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE to hold off.
Trump stated that a potential deal would ensure Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons. However, he has instructed his defense officials to remain prepared for a large-scale assault if an acceptable agreement isn’t reached.
