Coalition groups consist of political IDPs – Tinubu
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed the newly formed opposition coalition, labeling its organisers as “political internally displaced persons” and urging the public to ignore their actions.
He spoke on Wednesday during a one-day working visit to Nasarawa State.
Tinubu said: “Do not be swayed by the noise of coalition groups; they are political internally displaced persons (IDPs),don’t give them a hope.”
Tinubu’s remarks follow rising speculation that opposition leaders are working to build a broad political alliance ahead of the next general elections.
