A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Edo, led by Kennedy Odion, has withdrawn from the upcoming local government election due to credibility concerns.
Spokesperson Osagiede Osaze cited reservations about the election timetable and demanded independence from EDSIEC. “There is no point participating in an election whose result has already been determined,” Osaze stated, emphasizing their commitment to democratic participation.
