The Court of Appeal, Owerri, affirmed Senator Nenadi Usman’s Labour Party faction as the sole authority for litigation. LP National Publicity Secretary Ken Asogwa confirmed the July 2 judgment from Abuja. This ruling solidifies the Usman-led leadership’s legal power to pursue or defend court actions for the party. The Abure faction vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court.
