President Bola Tinubu has directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission to conduct a thorough investigation into the activities of the disputed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and all related matters, with a comprehensive report to be submitted within 30 days. Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga announced the directive on Tuesday, saying the ICPC would investigate forged appointment letters, false claims of presidential appointment used to seek diplomatic recognition, and the opening of multiple bank accounts in the names of purported government agencies using allegedly forged documents.


El-Rufai’s Wife Tells Tinubu Husband Does Not Deserve Current Treatment

Hajiya Asiya El-Rufai, wife of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has told President Bola Tinubu that her husband does not deserve the treatment he is currently receiving.
