The campaign kicked off in Benue State, and it’s not stopping there. According to Punch Newspapers, NIDO Africa’s Continental Chairman, Prof. Jude Osakwe, said the tour launched Thursday at Government Model Secondary School in Makurdi, drawing government agencies, law enforcement, and community stakeholders together.
Over 25 secondary schools across Makurdi were invited, with speakers from the Benue Attorney General’s office, NAPTIP, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the Ministry of Education urging vigilance against traffickers’ tactics.
The tour now heads to Asaba, then Benin City, before wrapping up with a grand finale in Abuja.
