Nigeria’s Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation (CBAAC) has partnered with Switzerland’s Cinémathèque Suisse to preserve and digitize Africa’s audiovisual heritage. The three-year renewable agreement, signed in Lagos, aims to safeguard cultural memories, enhance professional training, and expand global access to African heritage, notably in preparation for the FESTAC ’77 50th anniversary.
