Canada is opening its doors wider to skilled tradespeople from Nigeria and beyond, inviting carpenters, plumbers and machinists to build their futures north of the border.
Canada Calls For Skilled Tradespeople
According to Gazette NGR, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) made the announcement in a social media post on Monday, sharing a link to its official website for interested applicants.
“Canada is seeking skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, plumbers and machinists, to build our communities,” IRCC said.
The agency urged Nigerians and other prospective immigrants with relevant training to explore its immigration pathways.
“If you have the training, credentials and experience in the skilled trades we’re looking for, explore our immigration pathways and build your future in Canada,” IRCC said.
