Trump’s Green Card Rule Change
The Trump administration announced on Friday a new policy requiring Nigerian and other foreign nationals seeking U.S. Green Cards to apply from their home countries. USCIS spokesman Zach Kahler stated the change aims to restore the law’s original intent, ending temporary stays as a pathway to residency, effectively closing perceived loopholes in the immigration system.
