Nigeria’s Drug Production Boost: 11 New Projects by 2026
Nigeria’s federal government is poised to inaugurate at least 11 pharmaceutical manufacturing projects by 2026. This move aims to expand local drug production, bolstering national health security and positioning Nigeria as a key regional pharmaceutical manufacturing hub. Abdul Muktar of PVAC announced this at a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, highlighting efforts to enhance access to local medicines and create export opportunities across West Africa.
