‘Iran puts Trump in a coffin’

Iran has erected a giant billboard in Tehran depicting President Donald Trump lying dead in a coffin inscribed with the words “We Will Kill Trump,” as US Central Command confirmed a fresh wave of precision military strikes targeting Iranian command centres, missile capabilities, and coastal facilities including the key port city of Bandar Abbas.

The billboard says it all — and Tehran wants the world to see it.

A giant mural has appeared in the Iranian capital depicting US President Donald Trump lying in an open black coffin, his hair dishevelled, hands resting on a red tie, feet pointing upward — surrounded by the same concrete barriers used at Iranian state funerals. The inscription across the coffin, in both Persian and English, reads: “We Will Kill Trump.” A second message adds: “In memory of Minab’s children.”

Peoples Gazette reports that the provocative display emerged against the backdrop of dramatically escalating military confrontation between Washington and Tehran.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it had completed a fresh wave of strikes against Iran on Wednesday, concluding at 9 p.m. ET on July 15. The operation deployed precision-guided munitions against multiple high-value targets.

“US forces struck Iranian command centres, air defence sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten innocent mariners crewing commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz,” CENTCOM said in its statement. “CENTCOM used precision munitions to hit targets in multiple locations, including Bandar Abbas” — one of Iran’s most strategically critical port cities.

In a separate operation earlier the same day, American forces conducted a 90-minute strike wave targeting Iranian coastal defence and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island.

“Earlier this morning, American forces struck coastal defence and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave,” CENTCOM added.

The billboard’s appearance and the military strikes together mark a sharp and dangerous escalation in hostilities between the two countries, with Tehran making its message to Washington unmistakably visual.
