Nigeria’s legal fraternity expanded by 6,009 new barristers at the 2026 Call to the Bar ceremonies in Abuja. The cohort includes 6,000 successful December 2025 exam candidates. The Body of Benchers cautioned against the misuse of “Barrister” as a title and condemned unethical social media practices by aspirants.
