A Delta content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, also known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” has been arrested by the Delta State police command. This follows the alleged rape and subsequent suicide of a 20-year-old lady he had invited to Asaba. The victim, in a video recorded before her death, accused Ogbonna of sexual assault after she sought his financial assistance.
Police spokesperson Bright Edafe confirmed Ogbonna took the victim to a hotel and raped her. The incident occurred after the victim traveled to Asaba for a content creation training offer. She later returned home distressed, confided in her parents, and ultimately died by suicide. Ogbonna has reportedly made statements to the police as investigations continue.
