Nigeria’s 2025 Licensing Round Sees 31 Firms Secure 37 Oil, Gas Blocks
Following a commercial bid conference in Abuja, 31 companies have successfully won 37 out of 50 offered oil and gas blocks. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) noted the significant interest in frontier basins, marking a first for these regions. Awards are pending signature bonus payments and ministerial approval.
