Former Rivers governor Rotimi Amaechi says his political experience and leadership record make him the strongest presidential aspirant in the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections.
Former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has declared himself the most qualified presidential aspirant in the African Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on ARISE News, Amaechi said he possessed more political experience than other contenders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
“I’m the most experienced of them all. I’m the youngest but most experienced,” he stated.
Amaechi highlighted his previous roles as chairman of both the Governors’ Forum and Speakers’ Forum, saying those positions strengthened his leadership credentials.
The former minister also criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration, alleging that “The president is creating hunger as a way of manipulating voters.”
He accused the ruling APC of weakening opposition parties and pledged to prioritise “law and order” if elected president.
